In this edition of our monthly meeting we were joined by 19 people and we welcomed a recent attendee, Chris Murray for his second meeting.

This months theme was Human Form and first to go was Anna Lerner with a series of intriguing reflections and shadows. Janet Nabney followed, with photos of a local musician and ghostly forms using layered images. Jim Paterson showed photographs of athletes from the 2021 Olympics, together with dancers and musicians. Sukhy Hullait submitted work of his son and portraits of people from his project about his local area.

On to personal projects, Frankie McAllister showed beautiful work of alive and decaying flowers from her Nature Morte project, tying in with fabrics from her grandmother, and also using her photos printed on fabric as backdrops for her work. The result was arresting, powerful work. Austin Guest showed photos of details in Hertfordshire together with photos showing different seasons. He highlighted Silver Images Photographic exhibition where he will be showing work. Alec Wyllie, showed work of possibly other worldly constructions along the Thames together with images of scaffolding and cranes. Heather Martin introduced photos in Crystal Palace Park during the recent fog resulting in beautiful and evocative photos. Nusse Mechtchild Belton showed powerful black and white examinations of trees and their form, which struck a cord with the group. Lastly, Sue Czapska presented photographs from her lockdown series on bus shelters reflecting on a solitary world lit with splashes of colour.

Another enjoyable evening spanning a broad range of work.
