This is part of a project on communities. It shows the community around Dulwich Hamlet Football Club, a semi professional club who play in the Isthmian League. They have a big local following and are known for their support for the local community and their politics with a strong commitment to equality and diversity and a corresponding stance against racism, sexism and homophobia. Home matches are well attended with a friendly, fun, family atmosphere, strong support for the team and some excellent football. The club’s politics are visible in matchday culture too through banners, chants, and fan activities, while the club maintains affordable ticket prices and encourages community participation.
